Its purple too, wonder why the same color.  Maybe they can't change the color.

I don't think that the epoxy just has to be one color they can add additives like they do when they plug bowling balls, same stuff.

But in the DVD that columbia created about the epoxy there were other colors of the epoxy ball, a blue a green and a couple others. Epoxy is plug, plug is clear, then shouldn't there be a clear epoxy ball??  If not there must be an additive used for color.

If you click the link under the picture of the Project X you'll find this ball is not identical to the EPX T1...

if you follow the link, yes the ball is not the same it has the TNT (and other balls too but i remember this one) core in it.
