Code ='s Perfection Again !!!
« on: April 21, 2008, 02:31:30 PM »
Tried the Heist for the first 2 games tonight, killed the pocket shot 215, 204. Finished the 2nd game (10th) with the Code, rattled a three bagger, then proceeded to flush it another 12 times for another 300, great ball, forgiving, and a ton of carry !!!!

Nov 07 300 (Night Hawk Pearl)
Mar 08 822, 300 (Code)
Apr 08 300, (Code)

must be something here that agrees with my game !!!!

Yeah I had the same prob, just went with an older drill that always seems to work for my game.

Heist makes me play 3-4 boards further left with the feet and target than with the Code stronger start to finish than the Code, where the Code has more length and more angle, 2 diff shapes.

Steve, if I were to buy a Code and were to drill both balls exactly the same, what kind of difference would I see between the two. For example, my Heist is drilled 4 5/8 x 3 5/8 and no weight hole and Pin almost all the way under bridge but not quite. What would a Code do different drilled exactly the same?

thanks Todd, been rolling it real sweet of late.

Brick,
two diff shapes, start with your Heist, finish with your Code, unless the oil dictates you can start with the Code.
The Heist is earlier strong arc or hook depending on how much hand you have, the Code has more natural length with the pearl in the cover, will cover more later than the Heist, more angular for me.
What I like about the Code is the consistancy it gives me for a pearl being half and half makes it more predictable than a 100% pearl, bites sooner and I have absolutely no over under I've seen with other pearl balls. Just matches up very well with my game.
