I've already posted this to LuckyLefty, since I know he's a big fan of the Heavy Oil Monster Angle Evolution Tour... and plus I hold all the important information on balls that we've talked about for the last couple of years on here near and dear to my heart!
The other night in league where I've been using my Thing lives on this Medium/Heavy Oiled shot... I had to use my AMF TNT for a change.
Right before league, they put out the usual shot for this league... but before we were able to bowl, they let a group of people throw a few games and they all used PLASTIC and just destroyed the shot. All kinds of Carrydown. I didn't think PLASTIC could cause this much Carrydown!
In practice, I noticed my Thing Lives (sanded finish) was not hooking into the 1-3 pocket like usual... instead it was hitting the 3-6 pocket. And I mean it was just ripping that 3-6 pocket slam up too!
Anyways, I struggled the first game not getting anywhere with the Thing Lives and shoot 186... so I pick up the TNT (aggressive sanded finish) after the 2nd game starts and I proceed to throw the next 17 out of 19 strikes and shoot 249 and 261.
The TNT is the most hookingest ball I thrown in the last 2 years besides the Angle Evolution Tour! I've tried all the so called Oil Monsters (really some were Heavy Oil turds in my opinion) and so far AMF has the 2 best Heavy Oil balls in the 2-3 years out of all the companies as far as I can tell.
It's a ball that rolls early and still has some backend punch.
Have you seen many other people having success with the TNT? Several of AMF's newer stuff is catching my eye... these balls actually do some big hooking!
The TNT is a goodie!!!
