i have a buddy who has one of these and were trying to figure out the box finish can anyone help me out?

i don't think so bro. all 3 if the one i had came with a high gloss finish. the AMF300 site even says it comes polished. the TNT came 1500 matte. is that what you're talking about?

also the cover is the One-7 Plus.

also, just curious, how do you know the AMP came at 1500 grit? i never heard that and all AMF says is "Polished".

ABout 99% of Columbia-based balls are sanded to 500 or 600 grit and then have what they calla  1500 grit or a 2000 grit polish (using Degree Polish).

I also remember the Amp coming with a high gloss polish, not a matte finish. The one local cranker I saw who had one had a polished one and he never touched the stock surface of his balls.

no problem bro, heck Big B, says everything polished comes with "High Gloss Polish", so maybe I think anything polished is high gloss, lol.
