I drilled one of these up. Pin next to ring finger with the cg kicked out. With the low RG, particle cover, and high differential I expected a pretty aggressive ball. What I've got is a ball that is really clean through the heads and then labors at the breakpoint. It doesn't recover well when sent wide and doesn't hold well when pulled into the oil. In other words, I wasn't getting much area on a house shot. It was carrying the corners, but it was leaving a lot of pocket 9 pins. In terms of # of boards covered, it was about the same as my Blazing Inferno only more even in nature where the Blazing is more Hockey stick. I was expecting a ball that I could swing when my high RG stuff was hooking late. At least in box finish, this doesn't appear to be it.

Sounds like the drilling with this coverstock and weight block does not match your game at all.
I have 2 AMPS and they hit like MACK TRUCKS !!
I have one with a 6"pin and pin above the fingers 5",drill 7 1/2 by 1 1/2 and it goes long and snaps like a bat out of hell !!
The other AMP is drill with the pin under the fingers,cg kicked 2" right and the balance hole on my pap,which is 4 1/2 right. It rolls early in the mid lane and arcs on the backend.
So Louie,it does not sound like the ball matches your game.

I've had some problems with low rg stuff hooking early for me. This ball doesn't do that. It's very clean early. It's the midlane that seems to be the problem. Send it wide and watch it slide through the breakpoint. Play it tighter and you lose all hold area on an easy wall. It's hooking a bit more in the oil and less off of the dry than I like. Maybe I should just stick with reactive equipment.

I know I'm really sick.
I keep the expense down by being an avid Ebayer.
For instance, this AMP was under $100 drilled including all costs.
I've got an all Ebay "A" bag right now.
Blazing Inferno (about $90 drilled)
Blue Gryphon (About $100 drilled)
Spirit 2 (about $85 drilled)
Rubber ball for Spares $50 drilled
I've got about 6 more Nib in the basement to play with and probably 8 more drilled up that I'm not currently using.
I don't sell the used ones anymore because I was only clearing $20 after shipping. It's just not worth my time. I give balls away all the time. I roll 14# and there just isn't much demand for used 14# balls. I only have time for 1 league and one practice session a week. (wife and 4 kids + work) I think about bowling all the time and playing with equipment is an outlet since I can't get out to 3 leagues a week like I want to. I know that higher rg lower differential reactive equipment works best for me, but I'm to stupid to stop drilling up all these balls!
