Anybody got video of the HYPE (Especially the urethane)?

Heard it was stronger than the Natural and wanted to see it in action for myself.

 Or, maybe a comparison video of the two of them together.

FWIW both BTM and BJI seem to agree that it's earlier and more overall hook and backend than the Natural. It seems to need medium oil while the Natural needs light to medium-light oil to work properly.

It seems much harder to put a shine of any sort on the Hype than it does for the Natural. Even Beans' polish had a hard time with my Hype, so far. Looks more like a smoothed, compounding than a polish, and keep inmind that the Hype is already at P4000 grit while the Natural's stock surface is P2000 grit!!!

Nah, the Trooper was much easier to get a shine than the Hype. Mine is still shined. Also the Trooper was half pearl, half solid.

I have the Trooper, the Hype, the Slate Blue Gargoyle and the Glowing Amulet.
But the Trooper, the GA and the SBG are all drilled very differently.
The Hype isn't drilled yet.

Juggernaut,
I have the Hype Urethane,
It is a tad stronger than my Liberator, and will be impossible to shine
or polish. It will hook early, and wont bump off the dry like reactive. That
is what I have seen so far, with a 5 X 4 drilling.

Juggs, pm FBM357,Vern has both the Natural and the Hype Ure. he told me the Hype was several boards stronger than his Natural even at 4000 abralon.

Steve is correct.  I have the Hype and Natural.  The Hype, for me, though it comes 4000 reads earlier and overall moves more than my Natural. I play 2 different lines, Natural is more up the boards and Hype needs a little head oil to prevent early grab.  Picture of both layouts.... Hype has weight hole, Natural doesn''t ... Believe it or not, the Natural is at a lower grit (2000), I polished mine so it wouldn''t grab sooner than I wanted (inclined to believe the cover isn''t solely urethane).  The Hype is ''hell-a-hard'' to polish.  Suggestions to do so would require scuffing the cover and apply polish (others have posted how damn difficult it is to polish), therefore I''m inclined to believe this ball is ''ALL URETHANE''.  Also, the Natural ''bleeds''.  What I mean is, after cleaning my ball, the next time I remove it from the bag it has an ''oil-slicked'' cover on it, hence my inclination it isn''t entirely urethane (I may be wrong, I''m not the chemist )

One more thing.... Hype flares considerably more than the Natural

Thanks for all the replies guys. I've been looking to add a new urethane to my stuff.  Been using mostly A.M.F. stuff recently, so I wanted to wait on the HYPE and see where it fell on the scale. I think it is going to be a bit more than I was looking for.

 Not real crazy about Storm stuff, but I also don't think the urethane Ogre (by visionary) would be strong enough, and the Seismic Desperado is still an unk nown entity.

 Looks like there may be a Storm in my future.

I dont have a Hype, but the Ogre needs some dry to move at all. It sounds to me both the Hype and Natural are stronger.

  That's what I am thinking as well. What we bowl on here isn't "true dry", but does burn off enough that reactives become unpredictable by the middle of game two.

  I'm loving my A.M.F. stuff, but a friend has a Liberator and I wanted something just a touch weaker. The HYPE sounds stronger (even though I used to love my old BUDII) and the Natural sounds just about right.
