So I picked up an older AMF ball yesterday...
mostly pink w/some white swirls...
engravings and pin are orange...
been resurfaced so many times, the only part of the logo still showing has the letters IES with a lowercase r above the I and E...
any clues...I love how it rolled...just wondering what it is!

Pink with white swirls or is it just phasing of the coverstock?
Is it a solid, or a pearl?
I'm not coming up with much...

Could this be it?

Most likely a slam.

It's definitely a pearl, and the swirls look like they're supposed to be there, so I don't think it's phasing. I don't believe it's new enough to be that Triumph. I had another guy say, who also didn't see it, that it might be a Whiplash. I would post a pic if I could, but I don't have that capability.

Pink Pearl Slam was the only one with an Orange Pin. When exposed to the cold it did get some white phasing. Hell of a ball back in the day, stronger flare with weak cover. Could be a great THS ball playing direct near the friction on today's stuff.

RPM Swirl maybe? I had a buddy that had one that was a pinkish pearl color.

That's definitely it. The picture provided by Lillen also furthered the point.
Your definition of the ball is dead on. I played a slight bump off the track, was able to make small moves as the condition changed, and put up a set of 709 with 3 whiff 10's. I can't wait til I get the ball to actually fit my hand!
Thanks everybody
