If anyone out there is worried about the scores being too high, try duckpin!!

$499 opening bid plus $35 shipping and handling. It's a rare ball, but I don't foresee many bites on that one. You can pick up 2-3 current high performance balls for that price. I wish the seller luck, but unless he finds someone with some strange fixation, I don't see that ball selling any time soon.

I've only bowled 300, but I've benched 345

One word for that auction:
Ridiculous......
NO WAY that ball sells for that... I honestly would not pay $50 bucks for it..

you'd be surprised what some people will pay for old school bowling balls. a year or so ago I saw a 15# NIB Cuda/C sell for $275 on Fleabay. Then a few weeks later a NIB 15# pearl Cuda/C went for $300. Afterwards I removed the cuda from my daily search as I would never pay such numbers.

He is also selling the old Piranha 16# NIB. Currently at $130.

Its a good job you do not live in the UK then. Thats how much I paid for my last ball. You guys really don't know how good you have it over your side of the pond.

I would have got away with it if it was not for those pesky kids (Behind my lane) and those blasted 10 pins.

I am amazed people pay those ridiculous prices for older balls. You can get a similar ball with the latest and greatest technology for much less..
You also have no idea how these ball have been stored for all these years. If they have been in a hot (or cold for that matter) warehouse somewhere, they could crack on the drill press very easily..
It makes no sense to me but that's just my opinion..

Yeah, but those were cutting edge at the time and Superflex is still a good coverstock. The gunsmoke cobra is just pearl urethane with a lightbulb core. Pearl Hammers and other similar balls are pretty easy to come by

It IS next year!
