PRO FOR CONTROL

SPECS:OOB Finish MB swung out about 2 inches

T&O Lanes: Guardian surface for 20 feet then old wood after that, over the top returns make moving left a no no. Oil is heavy in the center dry outside like any THS but the dry outside bites you if you are out to early or to late. I had used a pile of different gear here for the season trying to figure something out, I have a MoJave that is amazing for the last game to game and half but I can't get a decent look early. So I got URP at the end of the season and had it setup for control and it was pretty good. I would play around 15 at the arrows try to get the ball out to 8 at the break if I suceeded I was gold carry was impecable pins got low and went right off the deck messengers were their when I needed them reaction was a little snappy here but just about any ball is snappy here, if you have any good amount of hand and ball speed together. Ball had easy length going down around 44 feet before it started making a move not bad for a pattern that is about 36 feet long at the most.

Lake Shore Lanes: I have brought this ball here to practice here on a few occasions. Ended playing pretty straight up. But I have had many different looks and they all have been good. The most recent time I played 12 out to 10 and let is just chug back in, not a aggressive move at the break smoother and more consistent than snappy read I got at T&O. I was light flush during most of this practice session and they mixed very very well for me. After a couple of games I bumped right and went up like and just let it roll in had to break wrist and go up the back of the ball with it but I got better length and a very comfortable read with the ball this way.

COMPARISON: Pure Tactics 2 with the same drill pattern, PT2 is earlier and stronger off the spot than the URP and covers about 7 more boards if not more easily. URP is later smoother easier to handle off the spot on a snappy condition.

HIT/CARRY: While this is not a bone Crusher like the Pures are it does have a very nice amount of power, messengers are their as needed very few corner pins are left.

OVERALL: A good ball, suffers on oil but that is to be expected it was not meant for oil, anything lighter than Medium though it is a great choice. Smooth and controllable when the lanes start getting jumpy could push through the head and midlane easy read and great carry.
