Layout-3.5 inch pin, 2.5 oz top. Pin about an inch above the middle finger with the CG 2 inches out from the center of my grip. 3/4 inch weight hole on axis, 3 inches deep.

I can best describe the reaction of this ball as skid/snappy. This ball works best for me when lightly polished. Strongest backend of any AZO ball I have thrown yet.

When used on a 35 ft. house shot, I can stand around 30, ball at around 17 at the arrows, getting out to 5 and rip pocket all day. Ball can be thrown on almost any condition, with the right speed. Play up the boards (heavier oil) or move in and swing the lane (lighter oil). This is a pretty versatile ball...one of my favorites right now.

My father has one as well (pin above ring fingers and CG in center of grip, now weight hole). From what I have seen, his ball goes fairly long (on a 36 ft house shot, fresh backends), getting through the heads with ease. His does not check up quite as much as mine, but still makes a good move.

This is the NICEST ball AZO put out. Well... it's the only AZO ball I actually like to throw. I HATE the red fire, and the fusion is ok?!? What the hell... they were free anyways.

This may be the hookingest ball that I own. It compares with the Wicked Oyster in level of snap on the backend.

Color is a nice sapphire blue pearl with black base.

I've now tried the ball with two drillings, so I can review each drill:

1) Pin below fingers (4-7/8" from PAP 1.5" below fingers).

Ball would roll a little early for my liking, but it had an even read. Because of the 4" pin, 4 oz TW, ended up with a weight hole 1-1/8" to drain thumb weight.

With this drilling, ball worked very well on medium lanes with carrydown. Nice skid roll arc reaction.

2) Pin above fingers (5" from PAP 2" above fingers).

Ball is WAY snappy with this drilling. Snap allows me to play deep angles and still have the recovery needed to carry light pocket hits. For my game, this drilling is a lot more conducive to playing inside (which is what I needed for my arsenal). Big problem with jerkiness, but that comes with the territory.

I hesitate to "can" this ball with a rating, as it is quite versatile. All I can really say is if you need a ball that will hook, buy this. However, be very careful on how you decide to map the ball out.

Drilled pin at 12 o'clock 2" above the fingers.

Was waaaay to snappy on the backends at first so I put a weight
hole 3" on midline to PAP to take out some tw and what a difference.

Pearl Reactive that rolls better than anything I've owned before.
This ball doesn't overreact at all.
The low Rg gets it revving early and the pearl reactive gets it down
the lane with such ease that there is a ton of energy ready to be
unleashed at the pins.
