PURE SO PURE

SPECS: Pure#1 From Britton the same ball as used in his video of the Pure on VBR. Same drill pattern dual Angle is 35x4 1/2x35 Right now I have it dulled down to about 1000 abralon no polish but I have used it with both Box and sanded finishes.

Lake Shore Lanes: The easiest THS known to man, oil in the middle dry outside PT1 with the OOB Surface to see what it was like I played over the middle arrow and out to about anywhere I wanted and the ball came flying back, as it broke down I got deeper and still all the area I wanted or needed. Very Nice look. Not really much else to say.

SHARK PATTERN: on Wood lanes with the 1000 abralon no polish, Started playing about 16 0r 17 at the arrows and out to about 10 didn't try to go any farther right with the BP due to my ball speed, but a couple a dropped out their had great recovery. BP was right at the end of the pattern and the direction change was brutal, just stood right up no hesitation at all. Gave a great area to play into and room for error, amazing hitting power and even better carry no complaint here.

COMPARISON: To LevRG and Ntense. All three had similar not the same drill patterns. PT1 was stronger off the break than both Ntesne and LevRG, PT1 had easier length and a better read down lane the two MoRich balls didn't read anything except the return rack. I would say the PT1 is about 5-7 stronger off the break than the Ntense, the Ntense rolls up earlier and smoother. With PT1 I had about 4 extra boards of space to hit on the lane and a larger pocket as the ball splashed pins much better than Ntense.

HITTING/CARRY: Amazing, Messengers flying every where, light mixers carry all day long, flush pockets hits are not even questioned pins simply vanish.

OVERALL: This ball and PT2 have taken the place of alot of stuff in my lineup. Versatility is unmatched, ball work very well on everything from Heavy all the way down to Mediums. OOB this was a DEMON on the last 15 feet of the lane. I am going to more AZO stuff ASAP I have two Pures (review of the 2nd will be up soon) a Ultra Radical Pro, Pro Tactics ready to be drilled and Ultima RP in the mail as we speak! MoRich my have been my past and I will still continue to use his stuff in some instances but AZO is where I am right now!

PURE 2!

SPECSin under Bridge MB swung aboout 3 inchs OOB finish.

LAKESHORE LANES: I have said before the easiest shot known to mankind. Dry out medium oil inside. Took this pure out and played about 15 out to around 7-8 this pure is a little smoother and just a hair eariler than the the 1st. made the pocket easy enough from their, couldn't command the enitre lane with this drill pattern like I could the first.

PBA VIPER: Started playing Viper with this piece took a couple of frames to figure the line out ended playing 12 out 5 kinda vanilla'd the release more straight up the back to get it down to the BP which was about 40 feet down lane. PT2 gave me area to miss right with and a little tug room but not much. Ended up shooting two games in the 230s with it on this line. After the third game I moved out and went very straight up about 7 with more speed and straighter up the back of the ball. Finished up with a game a little over duece then another in the 220s, I was impressed I thought PT2 would be a little much for this pattern but it very nice and easy to control.

OVERALL: Just like the 1st Pure for the most part reaction is a little different but that is because the drill pattern is a little different. Pure Tactics are the best bowling balls in my bag right now no question. They carry everything and work on a vast array of patterns with only minimal adjustment.

I have had this ball for 3-4 months now. I have only used it in tournaments, since my THS shots in all my houses don't put out enuff oil for me to sustain play with this baby.

15Lb-er
Pin under ring finger, mass bias swung right of CL about two inches
Small X-hole on pap, about .5" diameter

I used this ball all weekend in a local tournament. I generally only use it on med-hvy, and hvy oil. It is the ultimate "sleeper" ball.
During warm-ups I used my Horizon Solid to test the oil volume. HZ Solid is my benchmark ball. When It slid past my breakpoint and struggled mightily to hit the pocket, I immediately went to the Pure.

Everyone on our pair struggled to hit the pocket, even a guy using a VG. The only person who got to the pocket as easily as my Pure was a guy with a Reign of Fire.

I played 13 out to 9 and just destroyed the hole consistently. With most of the pair pointing the ball and playing a tight line, I moved out to 9, ripped up the back of the ball, and just watched it walk to the hole and wreak havok!

I love this ball for it's consistent movement, consistent hit, and it's resounding boom when it hits the pocket flush! It moves in a strong arc.
This was the first time that I attempted to use this ball on both light oil and heavy oil, and I have to say, the ball came thru with a resounding A+.

It will let you know when it's time to put it up. It does need oil to do it's thing, but overall, I now have to get another one to complement this one.
Probably get it drilled with a higher pin for more length.

Funny thing....when this ball started checking up due to not enuff oil, I balled down to my Nomad Solid, which I consider one of my stronger pieces! This really surprised me.

You can't go wrong with this ball. Pure Tactics is smooth, pure power!
