SPECS: Drilled pin under ring finger mb out about 2 1/2 inchs OOB Surface.
Area is very strong I would say easily a match for my Pure Tactics with the same drilling if not even stronger. I think the Area has little smoother off the spot that the Pure is however, Area offers a little more control on fast backends.
VIPER Pattern: On wood lanes I had a great look until I got stupid. the first two games I 12 out to about 8 with a flatter release than what I usually use. Area gave a great Area on a shot that was playing very tight. as the oil carried down I was bumping right trying to stay away, Area still gave a good few boards to hit, it didnt give me the feeling that I needed to thread the needle at all even as I moved into a part of the I very rarly play. Later in the set, I moved in and that failed me I should have stayed right but that is my issue not the balls.
THS: Wood lanes, Area gives me a strong and smooth style move easy to read and control. Carry is very good and very consistent. I can play alot of different spots with minimal amounts of adjustments.
EARLY THOUGHTS: Great ball to replace the Pure with, this is one that will be in the bag often, and on the lanes just as often. Will place a larger and better review when I use the ball a little more.
