Not a lot of used ones show up here.  You could keep a close eye on ebay, but really, the best deal going is the 1/2HP Vertex (http://"http://www.buddiesproshop.com/product/1271/Vertex_Mold_-_Spinner_12_HP.htm") from Buddies.  If money is that tight, you can get the 1/3HP one.

Used spinners bring primo money so not sure your gonna find a deal anywhere on a used one. I would just buy a vertex 1/2 hp for around $200 and you will be set for along time.

yes that 1/2 horse will last a long time, I bought one when I started a shop and it last for 3 years before I had to replace it. So if your just using it for your personal stuff it will last a long time.
