Tote question...
« on: September 07, 2005, 02:42:56 AM »
For these supposed "deluxe totes" how much room does one typically get with the extra pouch?

Is it just one compartment for shoes or is it multiple ones?  If it is just one compartment, do the shoes take up all the space or is there a lot of space left over for other various bowling necessities?

Reason I ask is I'm going to 2 2-ball totes for tourneys this year, and was wondering whether I needed to get 2 deluxe totes, or if one deluxe tote was enough to hold my shoes, tape, inserts, nu-skin, and whatever have you so I can save even more space by just getting merely a two-ball tote (no compartment).

Thanks in advance guys...

In the tote I use to carry the shoes, I also have a towel, rosin bag, container of pre-cut tape, a few bottles of nu-skin (that are probably starting to dry out), a pair of socks, a rule book or three and the remnants of the bottle of Vicodin.  There is also a small container with some extra inserts.  It is pretty cozy in there, but I have everything I expect to need as I move from pair to pair.

For the sake of having extra room for maybe a water bottle, etc. I would suggest getting two deluxe totes.  I utilize totes when moving from pair to pair and given the amount of stuff I have in my tote pocket I would not want try and jam a pair of shoes in there with the items.

I get by with 2 tote plusses from Roto Grip.
With this combination I can carry everything I need.

Shoes, slide pads, towels, wrist bands and small bag with tape, grips etc.
free agency it is until i get a better offer.   LMAO

OK, guys-- I'll go with two "deluxes"... Any problem carrying one on each shoulder around?  I'm just curious because I usually swing my 2 ball bag way behind my back...

Shouldn't be...I know more than a few people that carry totes into tournaments, some even carry 4 at once!
