3 Ball totes
« on: June 17, 2008, 11:50:01 AM »
Need some help roomies, out of the 3 ball totes (with wheels) avaliable what is the best and if you could, where is the cheapest to purchase them.

I am definitely going to purchase one, just need some help to pick, I really have been looking at the Storm one with detachable accessory and shoe bags, as well as the vice bags.

So, any suggestions?

Magic,

I have seen the STORM 3ball tote and it is great. It is light and easy to put in and out of a vehicle. And from what I could see, the pockets are removable. If I was in the market, that is the one that I would buy.

I love the Vise 3-ball tote.  I usually have one of those and a Track 3 ball roller with me.  Both bags are very nice.  The Track bag has tons of room for all the extra accessories.

Brunswick had an International 3 ball roller (in red, blue and grey + black) on sale last year - not sure if you can get it in the US. It was dirty cheap around here, and very well-equipped with a rain hood, small accessory bag included, lots of side bags for shoes etc., rubber-padded big wheels, velcro straps to hold the balls in their cups and even loops at the zippers to shut them with a lock - a real travel bag. Very good value for the money!

Thanks for the replies guys, I snatched up a used vise one that was for sale on here and if that is as good as I hear i'll pick up another one later on when some of the newer bags come out.

I have the Storm one and I love it but the only thing is the detachable shoe bag rubs the ground sometimes.

That is the only negative on the old lay out. The really nice thing about the Storm bag is the wheel base is slightly wider. Wider = less tipping over on the corners compared to the Vise style totes.

I can attest to this from ALBQ as I was constantly trying to "right" the Vise bag while the Storm bag cornered like a champ.

i have the vise one and it works out great. if you waited a little bit longer you could have got the burnswick or KR one with the metal pull out handle that stores away when you close it back. its pretty cool. im going to get one forsure.

I like the stability of the Storm bag but the removable bag drags against the ground and becomes damaged over time. The weight of what you have in the pouch pulls it down.

The Vise is very solid, but is much more narrow in the base than the Storm version. It actually wobbles on me if I walk quickly with it.
