6 ball Storm Rolling Thunder

Hopefully, someone on this forum has one of the Storm 6 ball Rolling Thunder bags, and can answer what may seem like stupid questions...

Does the middle section detach from the bottom section, such that the thing can be loaded into the trunk of the car as 3 2-ball pieces?  I'd hate to have to try to lift a piece that contains 4 balls.  I can only seem to find statements that the top piece is detachable.

If the middle section is detachable, can the middle section be left out, placing the top section on the bottom section, and thus having a 4 ball roller for times when 6 balls are not required?  I realize that the top piece could probably just be "stacked" on the bottom, but is it designed to fit together in this fashion?

Yes it does come apart.  The cart stays attached to the bottom bag, but the other two sections become completely detached.  YEs the middle section can be left out to make a 4 ball roller.  It does still attach properly so it isn't just laying there.
