SST6
« on: August 07, 2006, 09:09:12 AM »
Just bought a pair of SST6.  What can I expect from these?  Durability, comfort, etc.. I have heard many good things about them, but unfortunately I have not known anyone who actually wears them.  Dynothanes are big in my area.  Thanks

My SST5s that I owed before were actually a bit more comfortable, but the SST6s that I have now are fine, and perform very well for me !!!

I liked the SST LX 6 so well, when I found some super discounted SST6 Blue/Black and Burgundy/Black I bought a couple of backups pairs.  Will rotate the pairs, so durability probably won't be a problem (even though I've heard of compliants, haven't seen myself...doubt it, dexter makes a great product; had the SST LX 6 for a year - no sign of wear what so ever).  The most comfortable shoes IMHO. These have such a nice wide footprint and are super light that balance is almost automatic.  Love both the LX and the regular SST6 heavy metals models.  Very happy Dexter customer.

allstarbowling-joe here has the SST6 heavy metal black/blue and burgundy/blue for a super discounted price; (haven't seen the black kangaroo SST6LX current product for sale) - sizes would be limited... won't attempt to quote a price, let him do that (I think I paid around 82 - 89 shipped for mine... prices vary..when he wants to move them or assuming he buys a liquidation lot).

pm allstarbowling-joe = great ballreviews.com seller

i have a pair of the original dexter sst 6's that i use for practice---these shoes came out in 2001. their construction is still rock solid and they are very comfortable. i have a pair of dexter sst lx's that i wear for league and tournaments---i got these when they first came out. again, rock solid construction and very comfortable.

I got them from Joe as well.  Got the blue/black ones.  Looking forward to them arriving.
