Another 3G Ultra or Sport Ultra Question
« on: April 27, 2012, 09:13:16 PM »
Probably has been asked before, but I'm interested in either the Ultras or Sports and was wondering since they do not come in wide width, how are they cut.  I DO NOT have a very wide foot, but feel much more comfort for example in a 10.5 wide.

Can anyone answer this? I may just have to order and tryout first, then return if necessary or do they run slightly big. I know that Dexter comes in wide as does Etonic, but I'd prefer the 3g's... Thanks guys!

They do run slightly full. I normally take a 4E width shoe. I tried a friend's Tour Ultra before I bought them and they fit surprisingly well. I can even wear a thick winter sock with no troubles.

You should try them before you buy or get one of the guaranteed returns from the internet sellers. Buddies and several others have it. I'm only using Buddies as an example. They call it "Shoe Size Protection".
See their Tour Ultra web page:

(The line above is url.  Just click on the line and it will bring up the Buddies web page.)
It's located under the Shoe Size drop down menu.

Thanks Charlest...did you get a half size larger because they weren't wide, or just your normal size?

I wear size 10 1/2 EEEE in New Balance athletic shoes and have no trouble wearing 10 1/2's in the 3G Tour Ultra's. The kangaroo leather is very pliable in addition to being very strong.
