Best Arch Support/Insole in the Dexter Line?
« on: October 07, 2008, 01:10:48 PM »
title says it all, been using the plain SST's for about a year now and the insole is pretty flat and unforgiving. Now my knee is starting to hurt just when i wear them.  OK there a base level shoe, i can understand.  SO which shoe do they make SST or other wise that has the nicest/comfiest arch insole?

I think my SST8's are very comfy but I really don't think any pair has great arch support. The best bet IMO is to just get some nice insoles and put them in your bowling shoes, I use the Dr. Scholls (sp) gel insoles and really like them in my regular shoes and haven't got them for bowling sheos yet, though i'm not totally sure I need them but it adds consistency between pairs of shoes.

Pull out the standard and replace with a nice aftermarket one. Have done this with many different manufacturers shoes.
