I am looking for a brace that will help give me a constant release and allow me to bowl longer b/c of the support. But, also has to give me soem freedom to snap my wrist. Hope this helps.

I believe most recommend the Mongoose Equalizer.......

I almost agree. The mongoose lifter is the one!
Mongoose equalizer is a firmer but cuts down on hook.
Lifter increases! Seems to allow some cup.
AS far as firming ones I like the Ebonite Positioner over the Robbie's.

PS I have 10 wrist braces and have tried many!

no......firmer ?? The equalizer allows a bunch of freedom....I don't see it decreasing at all.......

I don't have any wrist problems, but I do use (and love) my Mongoose Lifter. I'll use it at least once or twice a practice session if I'm not feeling the right lift from my fingers. Putting on the Lifter helps me remember what it's supposed to feel like coming off my hand.
It is very supportive though, so if I had a problem with bowling extended sets, or feeling pain due to my wrist, I'm sure it would work great.
I totally recommend the Mongoose Lifter. Even if you're just going to use it as a training tool like I do.

I find that the Lifter creates more side roll and more backend.
The equailizer is a more up the back roll for a straighter backend.
Wendy Macpherson uses the equalizer a lot for playing straight up the boards on the Woman's tour. I find the equalizer a lot like the Ebonite positioner and the Robby's classic in that both promote a firmness and maybe a little more up the back roll than the lifter!
Of course both Mongoose products seem to allow a little cup more cup in relation to the firmer Ebonite and Robby's.
I find a get more consistency from the front and back firmness of the Ebonite and Robbie's but less ability to adjust release compared to the Mongoose which seem to be more versatile!
My experiences with all 4 above!

PS one thing a lot of people really like and I almost forgot are the Master gloves which have a firm metal backing sort of on the hand and wrist yet allows cupping and a lot of hand action. Many love the rubberized fingers for more grip. I hate them and love finger contact. I also love the Robbie's above coupled with turbo's rubber index finger slip on! Lots of backend!

I use the Pro-Release from Moro. Gives a little more flexibility
in adjustment than the Mongoose(s). It adjusts laterally as well
as vertically (side roll aand revs)..

I like the Pro Release but I thought he said he wanted some snap.
I just get firmness out of the Metal adjustable gloves.
I find the ProRelease comfortable and the Robby's Revs 1 and 2 uncomfortable and they tend to run smaller than others their large to me seems like a medium.
However I think the Robby's are approved for the PBA Competition I think the ProRelease's are not but they are both approved for ABC competition!

I agree all the way. I use the Moro also.

The pro release is good but it's a pain in the butt to put on. The Robby Rev has all the lateral and front and back adjustments but only takes a second to put on and take off.
I have the Moro. I've tried the Revs II. I didn't notice any difference in the putting on and taking off of the two. The difference I did notice however, is I have a stronger release, more revs, more leverage, etc. with the Moro. I've also found the Moro easier to adjust. However I did like the light weight of the Revs II better than the Moro, but that is about the only thing I liked about it.

Again, I agree all the way with LL. I find the same thing with mine and found the same thing with the Revs II. I never tried the Revs I.

I use a Cobra, and a Cobra 3. They are both firm,
and alow me to snap my wrist (the way I have the wrist
strap adjusted)
