Hammer 3 ball premium roller
« on: September 04, 2016, 12:17:39 PM »
I'm looking for a new high end 3 ball roller to replace my 15 year old Storm bag. Pocket space is tops on the priority list, and a detachable accessory bag is second. Looks to me like the Hammer 3 ball is a top contender, but it's much higher priced, and I've heard some unkind comments about it. Feedback solicited from those who actually own it.....
Thanks

I believe the best 3 ball in terms of space and a detachable accessory bag has been from 900 Global. I know quite a few people that have it and they've had it for years. Quality seems to be great

A team mate of mine has the Hammer 3-ball bag.  It's at best (per him) is a OK bag.  Zippers are not the best.
I have the 900 Global 3-ball bag and I have had it for over three years.  Zippers are rugged and top quality.  One of the few bags with storage compartments on both sides.  It also has a detachable accessory bags and double wheels on each side which makes it super stable.
I have talked with many 900 Global bag owners over the last three years and I have never found a single one who had anything bad to say about their bag whether it be the 2-ball or 3-ball bag.
P.S. 900 Global also has one of the best single ball joey bags to compliment there regular bags which includes a separate storage compartment.

I wanted to update this topic and thank everyone for the feedback, which basically stopped me from buying the Hammer bag. I finally saw one last night in league. It was fairly clean and wasn't that old, but the threads were coming off in every direction and it looked like it had been thru the proverbial wringer multiple times. I've never seen so many loose threads on a bowling bag, I would have never believed it.
Not quite ready to advertise 900Global yet, but I'm getting close. Sounds all around like a pretty good product.

I used to own the 900global bag. Its probably the the best hard 3-baller on the market. The problem for me is that the bag is a beast. I strained my back more than once trying to navigate the thing out of my trunk. I sold it and now I use the soft Vise 3-ball bags. You can't stand them up, but they're much easier to pick up and navigate.

I have to say that the 900 global 3 ball premium roller pictures on both their website and others are minimal at best. Looks like they can use some marketing help. I cannot quite tell, is the accessory bag at the front of the unit detachable?
