Break in period on SST8s
« on: January 14, 2011, 07:58:07 AM »
Going to pickup either a pair of SST6s or 8s for something new to try.

I am using a pair of 3g Tour Ultras  (burgundy/grey)

I like how soft the Kangaroo leather is but am afraid the Dexters will be to stiff.

Has anybody used both types and if so comparison as far as break in time

thanks

I have not had both but I did have a pair of those Dexters and they were amazing. Lasted years for me and they were very flexible and versatile. I only got my Linds because some one stole my slide shoe from my Dexters. I still miss those wide soft shoes.

I have both and rotate them, every other week for each.  Both are great shoes.  I was amazed with the lack of break in time for the Dexters. They felt great and worked great after only a game or two....

I had the sst 6 lx they had the kangaroo leather. The other sst6 don't. Mine were very cophy but they didn't hold up. The 8's are holding up much better thanks to the leather toe guard on both shoes.

Bowling is like life. Sometimes you are the ball. Other times you are the pins.
