Does anyone else have a problem sliding with the rubber piece in front of the slide sole?

My shops owner has been trying out a pair of 7's for a few weeks and at first he did say that he had problems with it...but he got used to the extra bit of friction and just compensated.

just want to let everyone know that i bought a pair of sst 7's and i tried them out today and the rubber piece in front of the slide pad makes it difficult to slide correctly in fact i fell on my face twice across the foul line.

If you enter your slide at a steep level yes you might get caught, that's that i thought. but after using them for over 20 games i haven't got a problem with sliding. but my complaint about them is they are hot. they have no vent holes at all. the sst6 and 5 LX were cooler.

If you get too much weight on the front you will stick. I own a pair of the sst7's and when I got too much weight towards toes it made me stick. Keep the weight on the ball of my foot...don't stick.
