If these are now sold with MAP pricing, why not go crazy and do something like..... order from your pro shop instead of trying to save a nickel buying online? You get the added bonus of customer service if they fit different than expected or need replacing due to a defect.

I am also a pro shop operator and would rather see the bowler come to me first. I will help them when they order stuff online but not always for no charge. This is in response to the brick and mortar pro shops complaining that they could not compete with the online (no overhead) stores. When you order the 9, can you specify which sole/heel combo you want? I always have had to change to the combo that gives the most slide on my other shoes that came with various soles/heels. Would not want to order a pair of shoes that I can't use out of box.

You completely missed the point. I said since the prices are nearly identical, why not support your local pro shop?Everyone has to make their choice on how they spend their money, but every time you keep a local shop from turning a profit is a chance that they will eventually go out of business. I don't want to not have a local option. Their are certain things I don't want to do on line.
$30 each for a heel and sole? Glad to find that out now instead of later....
