Robby's Wrist Supports
« on: April 24, 2005, 11:50:14 AM »
I inherited an old Robby's Original that is both too small and worn out, so I want to replace it. Since I'm a lower rev player, I think that I'd like to try a more active, I guess you could say, type brace. The one I'm looking at is the Robby's Revs.

I'm wondering what is the difference between the Revs I, II, and III. Also, are the sizes the same as for the conventional braces? The one I have is a medium, but the large, fits like a glove (ok, its a bad pun)

I have used the RR1 and the RR2. I have not used the 3 but a time or two.

The main difference between the 1 and 2 is the 1 is longer and causes you to get more "finger" in the ball... Thus more revs. It also made me come over the ball a little more...something I have not did before using it. The 2 (the one I use now) seem to fit my game better and was easier for me to use. Just felt like I was in control a little better. Have no  over or under problems at all. I have tried the 3 but I did not like the index finger sticking out. Felt weird.

Hope that helps ya some.
