Am thinking of buying a new pair of shoes, is it worth to purchase Dexter's SST7 ? Comments and suggestions are welcome....thanks

I have them. I like them. They're very well put together. One negative that people talk about is the lip it has on the slide shoe to help get better placement if you want to change pads.
It had me nervous after I purchased them, but it doesn't affect me and I actually like it. It's easier to keep the new pad in place while sticking it on.

I bought the SST7's and i returned them after 2 shots because of that lip. It was impossible for me to use them. The SST6 is a great shoe and I have had several pairs with success.
I just bought the Etonic Stabilites instead and they are also a good shoe. You can't change the heels (yet) but it hasn't made that big of a difference like I thought it would.

I know a few folks that removed that little tab on the toe of the sliding shoe...
...it can be done, just have to utilize a knife or grinding wheel!
