Our center decided that to address the complaints about tacky and sticky approaches, they'd put down a "treatment" to make them slide more. I think the "treatment" was really "baby powder" because you could slide past the arrows if you weren't careful.
Those of us with interchangeable heels and soles were scrambling during practice to find something that would let us bowl on the legal side of the foul line. I haven't really had to tinker with the heels and soles on my TUs, but boy, am I glad I had them last night. Worth every penny, and I shot 644, about 100 pins over my average.
