I'm a fairly new league bowler that likes to grip the ball with my thumb being bent, has anyone ever used Ebonite straight thumb insert?

Never used it myself, but sold many of these to customers.  Will definitely help you keep your thumb straight.  Great training aid.  Put it in the hole and maybe put one piece of bowlers tape over it, works really well.

I knew of a guy that used one for along time, I even thought of using this product, but just had my thumb snug up, and learned to NOT squeeze that ball.. I think of it as holding an egg in your hand, don't want to crush the egg, so soft grip.. Can relate this to a few sports.. golf, baseball, even archery.. Good luck..

Some people like them and some don't. I was one that didn't like them. Keep in mind that they will change your thumb hole pitch a bit and give you the feel of having more reverse pitch.

I used a thumb straight for about a year.  For me it was a device to get me
to quit squeezing and knuckling the thumb.  After awhile it was not necessary.
But it did help me.
