3G tour ultras owners who once had dexters
« on: March 04, 2011, 06:17:55 AM »
I have just purchased the Tour Ultras and am waiting for them to arrive. I am concerned about the slides included....which sole will be close to the Dexter S8? I normally use the S6-S8-S10 from dexter with the S8 being the norm. Will I be able to get a similar feel from the 3g's?

I had problems with my SST8's like everyone else and also had bad luck with SST5's....so I didnt want to do Dexter again. I hope I made the right choice

When I was wearing Dexter's I used the #8 slide sole and the smooth rubber heel. Since I've gone to ABS/Dynorooz/3G Tour Ultra's I use the #4 deer skin sole and usually the grey hard rubber heel or the adjust-a-heel. Good luck !

I have both.  I think the 3 or 4 is the closest.  It will depend on condition/age of the sole.

I suggest also purchasing an adjust-a-heel.
