Title: etonic interchangeable sole?
Post by: W16613 on January 16, 2013, 06:57:29 AM
Do the Etonic shoes with interchangeable soles have the same problem the sst8s have with the traction soles pealing? If so what is a good pair of shoes that are for right handed bowlers?

I've had my etonic tour masters for a year or so now and haven't noticed any issues with the soles.

I did destroy a red rippled heel on my slide shoe but they replaced it and the new one has held up fine.

For now I'm going to glue the traction sole on, but when my refund check comes in  I'm going to take a look at the tour master shoes. Most likely I'll wait till they are completely worn because these shoes are expensive.

The Etonics are a brilliant idea and the shoes fit well.
However in practice the soles wear down faster with a smaller surface area and I have had trouble with the velcro losing its ability to stick.
I am still happy with the shoes as I travel a lot and am always able to find the slide that I want.  Just make sure to pick up an extra set of sliders.
