I have owned them for about 6 mos.  I feel that they are THE most comfortable bowling shoes I have ever worn.  The performance of the shoe is also very good.  Even though you can not change the heals, I feel they are as good if not better then any other high performance shoe.  There are enough soles to accommodate all approaches, and I have bowled on many types with no problems.  I think they would be a good choice for you and I really don't think you will be disappointed.

I just bought my first pair last week. I too was concerned about the inability to change heels. I have bowled on wood and synthetic lanes this past week with no issues what so ever. I didn't have to change the slider that is factory mounted, and you also get 4 other ones. The bottom is wide for extra stability, and they are comfortable.

I also have orthotics, so I took out the insoles easily to put my custom ones in no problem.
