3g Help
« on: January 23, 2009, 01:32:38 AM »
I'm looking to try some 3g shoes.  I had a pair of Dexters for 10 years now, and they're finally wearing out (took them long enough).  I bought a pair of SST8's and returned them in about an hour.  Worst shoes I've ever had the misfortune of trying on.  The slide was too slidey and the less slide was too sticky.  Not only that, but I shuffle my first step and the vice grip on my non-slide shoe was ridiculous.  After some browsing, I stumbled upon these http://www.buddiesproshop.com/product/6578/3G_Mens_Sport_Deluxe_-_BlackBlue_-_Right_Handed.htm

And these

I hate hate hate the idea of multiple soles, so the thought behind the first pair is to ease me into it.  The thought behind the second pair is to be able to shuffle my first step or two.

Thoughts?

You won't be disapointed in the 3g shoes I have a pair of Sport Ultras and they are the best shoes I have ever had. I shuffle my first step just a bit but not to bad and I have no issues with my push off shoe at all. I Don't change heels and soles very often very few bowlers do, just get used to one combination and stay with it then I change heels to adjust for slide.
