Ooops....
« on: March 21, 2006, 10:04:37 PM »
With only 3 weeks to do in the season + the State tourney.....I realized yesterday while practicing that my Linds soles have started to separate on my right shoe (drag foot).

Probably "super glue-able" .....but ....made me start thinking of replacements.  Although I've been a Linds fan for years....they aren't the MOST comfortable shoes around the toe area.....so....

What's the best BANG for the buck out there ?! I'm not talking 'cheap' ..I'm talking about best bang for the buck......and for limits, just for fun...let's say......KEEP IT UNDER $100 .....recommendations please ?

Thanks

I like the Dynorouz Men's sport deluxe around $75.00
I've had the Linds and the Dexters, would buy the rouz again.

Funny...I was just looking on ballcellar....I saw those...  $75....not bad at all!!  And, I heard they wear better and are more comfortable...."for most" ...

Hmmmm ..... only 2 soles and heals, but....I don't bowl 'that' much so it's probably fine......

I do like the SST 6 Blues though too!

I found that 2 soles and heels are all I need. It's seems to me the more choices we give people the more they mess up. Not saying that this would be the case with you, just what I've noticed.

I too have used Linds for years and decided to replace them. Got a pair of Dexter SST 1. Three warm up shots and I went back to my Linds. I could not begin to slide and nearly fell face first. Went on line and ordered a new pair of Linds Mens Classic and they are working great. Traded the Dexters in for a new pair of womens LH Dexters for my wife and she loves them. Just my two cents worth.

Jeff I just got a pair of the Dynorooz Sport Ultras.  $103 on BowlingBallSeles.com.  They seem very good.  4 slide soles, 4 heels (not counting the guy wearing them), very light and (supposedly) very durable.  I think I saw them somewhere  for under 100 (I paid more ).

(I'm with you on the 2 soles and heels, but no one I know of sells only 2.  It's either none or 4+.  I probably will never use 2 of the soles I have.)
