charles, would you recomend this or the inoovative personal revivor? or are they pretty much the same product?

Yes, I highly recommend it. I have one. Just used it on a teammates Marvel Pearl; got a ton of oil out of it and he used it Thursday night to good effect. It is simple, straightforward and well designed. It works and works well.

I trust NuBall because I know the developer and designer tests every single one after it comes out of the plant to insure the temperature gauge is accurate. No, as far as I can tell, it is not the same as the Innovative one. (I know the designer of NuBall; so I know what went into the development of it. )

What is the regular price of this?  Is it a big sale?

I also own a NuBall Rejuvenator and agree with Jeff's recommendation. The quoted sale price is an excellent bargain since the standard purchase price for the NuBall unit is $279.00. Innovative's oil extractor has a purchase price of $199.00 + shipping.
The NuBall unit has a digital temperature gauge. I may be wrong, but I think that Innovative's unit manages the temperature with a "green / red" zone color code. The Innovative extractor is also excellent from the reviews that I have read.
 
I usually bowl nine (9) games per week: 2 leagues and a practice session. My primary ball is the Columbia Freeze---not a notorious oil guzzler. I "bake" the Freeze once per month: 1 hour at 135 degrees. I am amazed at the amount of oil that the Rejuvenator takes from the ball each time.

I recommend the NuBall Rejuvenator without any hesitation.

No, there is no digital gauge, per se. It is analog.
The numbers are on a curve, going from 95 to 155 degrees with the gauge pointing at the right temperature.
I know that the designer test EVERY unit to insure the temperature is within a few degrees of what's indicated. If the production unit is not right, the tester affix a label adjusting the readings so they are correct.

FYI
- Brunswick does not want their balls subjected to heat greater than 125 degrees.
- Storm does not want their balls subject to temps above 140 degrees or below 40 degrees.
Other manufacturers may vary in their requirements,if they say anything at all. Brunswick and Storm both put the above requirements on (almost) every box.

I generally stick to the idea that was posted a long time ago: above 140 degrees resin and plasticizer (what makes urethane into resin) start to leach from the coverstock. I generally set my NuBall to 135 degrees. I have left balls in there at that temperature for over 5 consecutive hours with no harm, no foul, no cracking.
