Does it matter cuz they don't have an interchangeable thumb?

I just see:

And the house hacks are freaking out over em.

  • I have a name, therefore no preferred pronouns.
House hacks are always freaking out over something. They probably just decided to start advertising more.

What's so different with UI vs the rest that's making all the rage?
Does a round object have sides? I say yes, pizza has triangles..

They actually do have an interchangeable thumb coming.

I got a sample pack of grips to tryout and I have to say I like them a lot so far. I've been a fan of Turbo grips the past couple of years, I liked the firmer feel better than Vise. The Ultimates I got have a firm shape but are softer than the Turbos I'd been using.

I've noticed less wear and tear on my fingers using the Ultimate grips vs. Turbos. So far they seem to be holding up just as well too.

I'd like to try out the slugs and inserts... I see them on Buddies for a ridiculous $38 10-pack. I've heard they should be much cheaper than that. I don't see them in Google anywhere.
Suggestions where to find?

Do you mean Ultimate finger inserts/grips?
If so, they seem to be priced like the rest $15 for 10:

If you mean thumb slugs, $3.80 per each seems normal.

Yes, I mean slugs, and let me clarify. $3.80 may be fairly normal, but I don't want to "try" 10 of them. Was hoping to find them sold in smaller groups. Yes, I already know what you're going to say... Price per unit would be higher...

Your best bet would be ebay to try to find only 1 or 2 to buy, but I don't think you'd have much luck

I recently tried some Ultimate grips.  The sizes appear to be about 1/2 size tighter than Vise or Turbo but are a lot softer in my opinion.  They also seem to be a little form fitting and kind of grab your fingers (in a good way).  I've also been using the Ultimate Thumb Slugs in my shop for a while and they are comparable to Vise urethanes, at a lower price (about a $1 per slug)

so if i use vise (sizes) 23 and 25, I should be going up 1/2 a size?

I use 13/16 and 51/64 and while those sizes still feel ok, they do feel a little snugger than Vise.  I also used Vise P/O's and used the ovals.  The Ultimate one are TLO's (tour lift ovals), so there's probably a slight difference in the molding process that makes them feel a little smaller.

Can't say for sure if you should go up a half size, just saying what I feel the difference to be.

I think this is a good description for what I've noticed. They are really soft, but form fitting.
