G3 Sizing
« on: April 02, 2009, 05:03:29 AM »
Hey guys, I'm gonna be purchasing some 3g shoes online...how do their sizes run?  I usually wear either 10.5 or 11 shoes/sneakers, depending on the brand.  I wear an 11 Dexters now.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

i wore dexter sst 6's which had the oversized soles and the variety of soles and heels. i gave up on dexter as i could never find the right slide despite the choices offered by the variety of soles and heels. i also had major customer service issues with them and said goodbye for good. i've never been happier about my bowling shoe situation as i am with dynorooz and now 3G. my tour ultras are made from kangaroo leather which is both softer and stronger than dexters cowhide. the shoes are lightweight but feature quality construction that features soles that are both glued and sewn to the uppers. the tour ultras come in their own bag with sole savers and a variety of heels and soles. all together you have 6 different soles and 6 different heels to choose from. i've been able to match my slide with any approach i've run across in the last 3 years. my current pair of tour ultras are two years old and look brand new. they have plenty of life left in them but i'll probably get a new pair this summer anyway.

I never had the SST's...I'm still using ancient shoes from 8 or 9 years ago lol.  I tried the SST 8's for about a half hour...I HATED the fact I couldn't shuffle my feet.  So I'm going with 3G Shuffler

i used to wear dexters sst 5's in a size 10.5 i recently bought a pair of tour ultras in a 10.5 and they were a little big had to send them back for a pair of 10's. so its my experience that the comparison between the 2 are a half size difference. this is just my personal experience.

What exactly is shuffling your feet?  I'm also concerned about shoes with the rubber tips like the tour ultras because my trail leg might drag as I'm sliding which could mess up my shot, or even cause a mishap.  As far as I know the Dexters don't have the rubber tip sticking out.
