going to give it a try more for fitting then release purposes. What color is the closest to a normal "skin" release speed?

Red would be close, better yet the Turbo Mint Green tape that you cut is closer though.

I believe it is blue,red,green,grey--fastest release to slowest

Comparing to skin is difficult though, it all depends on your skin type, dry vs oily etc, so everyone will find it a bit different.

Grey is the slowest but I believe it is still faster and slicker than skin(my skin).
The blue is the fastest. I notice a diffrence between the grey and blue but I think I could use either without it affecting my release.  I notice the blue is harder to put on and wants to curl up when you remove it from the backing. I think the grey tends to stay on my thumb better too.

those work pretty well, but they leave the worst residue on the skin, ugh stopped using it for that reason
