"dexter" shoes ?
« on: June 18, 2005, 12:04:28 PM »
i heard from a source that i'd call reliable tell me that although it's a industry secret of sorts, brunswick owns 50% of dexter, or at least 50% of their bowling shoe division. is there any truth to this ? can brunsrich or anybody else connnected with the big b confirm this ?

I have heard something to that effect from my X-source at Dexter. I am not to sure about the %. If that is true I'm suprised they stopped trying to leverage a situation for a set of Brunswick "performance" shoes. They did that when Walter threw for them with the special SST4 based shoes. I guess that would be a conflict of interest for Dexter as it might slightly upset its sales of SST shoes. Hope they do something soon as their design and line is getting pitiful.
