Do they make a bag that....
« on: February 23, 2005, 07:55:28 AM »
I am looking for a 6 ball bag. But, do they make one that you can take part off so it becomes a 4 ball bag. I could use the 4 ball bag for league then then the 6 ball bag for tourny's.

LMK. Thanks.

Most of the top tiers come off, so you can have a two ball or 4 seperate. Or 6 all together.

I don't know if it's what your looking for, but KR makes a conversion kit to make their current 4 ball bags into a 6 ball bag.  I've never seen one, so I'm not sure how easily the conversion is.

The problem with the six-ball bag is that the topmost part is the one with the shoe compartment.  Yeah, I know, the shoes will fit in the big pocket in the lowermost part of the bag, but there isn't the same level of protection there.

I actually have the KR conversion kit, but I haven't had the chance to try it out yet.  I'll try to do this tonight or tomorrow, and report back.

The Curse of Dusty - let me know how you like the conversion kit. I've been meaning to ask!

I beleive they do but the four ball bags have a attachment to make them into 6 ball bags so you can go either route.

On 4 balls bags the top one comes off too, just not 6 ball bags. IF u were to get a 4 ball ROLLER i would get the ebnite/track one with the inline 4.

The best option that ive learned would be to get 2, 2 ball totes. Much easier to carry around.

As for nowi jsut carry my spare bal in my hands with me with ym 3 ball bag. For tounreys ill bring 3 ball roller, 2 ball tote and JUST MAYBE anohter ball jsut in case.

I've got the K&R 4 ball lanerover with the 6 ball option. You have to take out 4 screws and change handles(option comes with longer handle and a center platform for the extra 2 balls plus a bag that goes on that platform). It only takes a few minutes to make the change once you've done it once or twice.I like mine alot.
We just got back from our state tournament this past weekend in which i went with the 6 ball bag. Only problem was that where we stayed had 2 floors and guess what floor we were on.Then to top that there were NO elevators. Was not fun taking up and down the stairs.
