Help with bag.
« on: July 15, 2004, 07:24:10 AM »
I asked this same question to buddies pro shop and they suggested the new inline 4 bag because it takes up less room and is not real bulky, but heres my question.

I want to get a 4 ball bag and i was considering the new ebonite/hammer inline 4 that they just came out with. But i looked at it today and theres almost no extra pockets for towels and all the other goodies. Now the other 4 ball bags that have 2 2 ball bags stacked on top of one another have alot more extra pockets for all your goodies and another thing is the top bag you can detach to make it easier to put the balls in the trunk.(i can put all 4 balls in at once but it would just be easier to put 2 in at a time)

So what would you recommend getting the inline 4 or the 2 stacked one?

Most people that have the Storm 4 Ball Rolling Thunder bags are happy with them.

I chose the 2 stacked one. I have a AMF. Reason is like you said, loading into trunk is easier.
I normally use a 2 ball roller for league and practice and I can just put it as a top bag on the 2 2 without having to transfer shoes and stuffs over.
For tournaments I carry another 2 balls in the top bag as a shoulder bag by attaching the shoulder straps and I can have 6 balls.

Hey, I have the Storm 4 ball bag, and it is a really good bag.  Holds up well and takes a lot of abuse.  One other suggestion though if you bowl a lot of tournaments, you might want to go with 2 2 ball totes.  They are easier to get around, weigh less, and are cheaper.  I just finished my first year of college bowling and took my 4 ball bag with me, it was just so hard to get around.  I switched to totes, and it made my life easier.  Thats just some advice, but if you want a rolling 4 ball bag go with the Storm.  I had it for 3 years and its still going strong.
