What is the best way to cut your dexter heels to fit so you don't destroy a new heel. I know a sharp pair of sissors will do a great job on the soles.

Many people i know dont bother cutting them...they just use as is. If you feel the need to cut them, an X-acto knife works well and then a bok cutter to finish it up.

I take mine to a shoe repair shop along with a heel that fits my shoe. For five bucks, it's a pretty near perfect cut.

I just use it as is. I didn't bother cutting the heal and don't feel any difference. However bringing it to a shoe repair shop is a great idea.

recipricating saw, jig saw, bandsaw, etc. We also use some kind of fine grit sander along edges.

I use a chainsaw with the pad on the shoe while I got the shoe on my foot...
Makes a perfect cut everytime !
