Title: how to remove heel insert on tour ultras?

Title says it all.  I believe when using the dexter heel i cut a hole out of, the "cleat" type thing actually hits the approach as well.

Whats the easiest way to remove this piece??

A guy I bowl nationals with said he used a flat head screwdriver and pliers.

what about a dremel tool and just trim it down?

If your shoes came with a shoe horn I usually use that.
