IT thumb inserts

i've been dealing with thumb issues now for the past month tape in tape out and all that. i've tried the turbo switch grips and griplock products with out much luck do to breaking the ears or comming back without the insert and so on but how good are the vise IT's? and how hard are they to install i was thinking about ordering the starter set and trying them at the shop but not sure if there worth it

I've been using the IT system for many months now (I was one of the earliest adopters apparently) and have not had a single instance of the thumb insert breaking or falling out, unlike the Turbo system where I had a couple problems in just a few months.  Also, the installation is much easier and more accurate -- I don't have problems with the insert sitting up too high or sinking too low on any of my balls now.  Love it.
