I just received the shoes, they fill the bill.
I suffer from over-pronation of my slide foot (even with custom orthotics)...I had Dexter 5 "Bedroom slippers", which do not have enough arch support, if a bowler has arch problems.
I've been having knee problems over the summer, which tracked down by my chiropractor to lack of foot support. Dexter SST 5 Sport shoes, have great support, much more like an athletic shoe...Better support on the inside of your ankle, on the slide foot (if you are prone to your ankle "rolling in").
A+++ Dexter for a great shoe.
