I have been using the SST6 for about six months and the front part of the non-slide shoe is begining to fall apart.  Anyone else have this problem?  I am thinking about changing to another brand.

GO TO ABS!! ABS is the newest and greatest shoe. I myself use them, and they all come standard with toe guards on the non-slide shoe. This sounds like what you need. If you go for one of the higher end ones, not only are teh heels and soles replaceable, and toe caps are too.

I have absolutly nothing wrong with my sst6's. I orderd them from buddies and the soles have not torn apart, they still stick everything is fine. Had them for almost 1 year and a half.

The orignal black and black / peacock type of the sst 6 had problems with the goodyear rubber wear, they fell apart on me.  The new sst 6s espically the LX's are much better, it's a different rubber sole.

Mine started doing that after I started dragging my toe really hard.  Don't know why I started doing it, but it started to peel the rubber off the sole at the toe. I had it glued back down and I try not to drag now.

guys, there is an easier solution than having to glue ur soles on every time they fall off or peal back, what is that solution, like i said just go out and invest in a pair ob abs. You wont regret it. Toe caps come on every shoe, and they are replaceable. If they wear down, just take them off, and put on a new one (stay in place using velcrow)INVEST IN THEM, THEY ARE CHEAPER THAN THE SST LINE YET DO THE EXACT SAME THING, WITHOUT THE COLOR SELECTION THAT THE SST6 HAS

steve d thats not what shaggy is talking about. He is talking about his non-slide foot. And he is not talking about heals or slide, hees talking about the toe part on the non sliding foot
