I was just wondering if Columbia has fixed their problem with the handles breaking?

From what I've seen, no. It seems to be either the handles or the wheels that break on Columbia bags constantly.

Warren300,

Do you actually have the storm 6-ball roller in stock?

Horse feathers!

K&R makes everybody's bag, As far as I know. who knows. At least they used to. Maybe China makes everyone's now.

I have a 4 ball roller LABELLED "Columbia300"; bought it 2 years ago. Been THROWING, literally, balls into the top and bottom for 2 full years now. Been THROWING, literally, both pieces into my car trunk for 2 years now. Been dragging it up and down stairs, through parking lots in horrible shape, for 2 years. Nothing's happened to it ... yet. Handle works, wheels still work, button on handle to lock and release the handle while retracting still works,  zippers still work, cloth outside is not torn ... yet. Of course, mine could be the exception. after all I have only had it as my exclusive bag for 2 years. It could break tomorrow. who knows?

Charlest,

Not sure had heard someone other than KR made Columbias I believe starting last year. From what I had heard it was the same company that made golf bags for Cobra. Don't hold me to that but had heard some jibberish from one of the shops i frequented as he was a big columbia seller in equipment.

The new bags have had the problems solved. I have been on staff for over a year now and i haven't had any trouble with the bag line. You have to remember that columbia had the bags totally redone to make them look and work alot better.  I do agree that there were some problems with the first running but i have been told that the problems have been solved.

Yes, but where else can you get a 5 year Warranty - that will either repair or replace the bag.... KR
