Has anyone tried the Polish Your Ball stuff. No overly expensive. Video makes it look easy. Appears that you can change your ball surface at home easily.

Had one, neat idea, but kind of hinky. It works better if you have a right-angle drill.
"If guns kill people, do pencils misspell words?"

"If you don't stand for our flag, then don't expect me to give a damn about your feelings."

I was a bit worried about messing it up, but it turned out to be pretty straightforward. With just a few sanding pads and the polish, I could easily change the ball's surface texture or shine to suit the lane conditions. The great thing is that you can customize the ball's surface depending on what kind of lane you’re playing on, which is really convenient.

One thing I learned is that it's better to practice on an older ball the first time to get the hang of it. Even though it’s simple, a small mistake can affect the ball’s performance. After a few tries, I felt more confident and didn’t need to go to the pro shop as often, except for more thorough maintenance.
