Moro Design Pro Release
« on: February 10, 2006, 04:03:56 AM »
I'm thinking of getting one of these, but they offer a regular and an extended version. Has anyone used either of them, or can you tell me which one you liked better. Thanks.

most people on this site use the extended, and most people Ive seen useimg them have the extended something 8/10 ratio at my house most of the regular length users I've seen are women but that doesn't mean anything,I use the extended for the extra support.Check out the forum om the Brunswick Power Koil in this same review catagory,

I've owned both and I use the extended. Much better support for the back of the fingers.

Ive used both, i use the regular one.  To me the extended felt like it confined my hand too much.  I guess its a comfort thing.  Seriously though I think either one of them are a good choice.  The Pro Release, is the best brace out there hands down.

I have used the extended for 3 years and not had 1 problem with it. It's a very well made product wich ever you choose.

Due to having two surgeries and an arthritic wrist, I have used the regular Pro Release for the last two years. I have found it to be very comfortable and easily adjustable.

I used an extended device from another company but it was awkward and uncomfortable. Personally, I would not try another extended one.

I order a Moro Pro Release and within 6 weeks of using the foam above the knuckles ripped and I emailed Moro and they stated that the foam doesn't just rip. They said that my hand was to big and caused this issue. Its a size large/Extra Large and I wasn't even the one using this but he didn't care to ask that. He said that they don't replace this as this is the best foam that they make. Also he states that he hasn't seen this in 30 years. I'm 24 and I have seen this twice with the same pro release. Just be careful what you order from MORO as I will NEVER order from MORO again

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I've used the Moro Extended wrist device on and off for approx 10 years and have never had a problem with the foam tearing as you describe.

I also use the Moro Release Extended. I have been using it for about 10 years. I find it is extremely well made, but the edges of a lot of the foam pieces are now starting to deteriorate. One good thing is that they do sell a rebuild kit which I have purchased, but I have not tried as yet. Overall as a bowling product I highly recommend the Extended.
