I got a message from ThomasR that said distributors would have them last week. I plan to order a pair tomorrow... Hoping he is right.

Hey Saws, can you post back when you get them and what you think? Mine are 15 years old and I'm curious if the new ones are going to be the same. Would love to know what you think.

OK finally got some decent use out of the 3g's. The shoe feels lighter not doubt but not sure I would call them comfortable. They do well for league play long tourney days had my feet hauling. The soles also took a few games to figure out the right combo for me.

they are the same old tried and true Tour Ultras......a few minor changes....but still the same great shoe.......not a bit uncomfortable. Out of the box, felt better than my 2 year old sst8's.

Had to stall on ordering mine, but they will be here next week. Looking forward to using them right out of the box. Not worried about slide combinations... I expect that to be trial-and-error.

They are not anymore comfortable than any of the SST's I've had. The shoe looks awesome and is lighter and since there new we can't speak on this models durability....

Finally got my new Tour Ultras... I'd go back to my 15 year old version in a heartbeat. These are NOT the same shoe. Initial reaction is big time disappointment. Soft uppers, yes, light, yes, but the base is thicker, the shoe seems a bit more narrow, and they squeak like crazy. I'll need background noise to cover the noise I make when I walk. Big decision now is whether to take them back or try to break them in....
How are you TPU-X users liking yours?

I have both the SST 8's and the TPU's.  My TPU's are very comfortable and sturdy and deliver the performance I want in a bowling shoe.
My SST 8's are stiff and uncomfortable by comparison.  A number of  posters think the SST 9's are the ticket.  Maybe so, but I am not willing  to invest the kind of money to buy them when my TPU's work wonderfully for me.
