Upgrading Shoes
« on: May 22, 2005, 11:30:59 AM »
I am consisting buying Dexter shoes. I have a pair of brunswick shoes but would like to purchase a pair of better shoes that would give me a better slide to the foul line. I will need them before summer league starts in June.
Any suggestions?

How much are you planning on spending on the new shoes?

The price you are willing to pay for shoes is what really makes a difference in your choices. I'm sure that if you could give us a price, we can find you a good pair of shoes.

like many things in life you get what you pay for. if you're wanting a top of the line shoe look no further than the dexter sst 6 lx----buddiesproshop.com has them for about $108.

Let me tell you something, save up your cash, and buy a top line shoe, either the Dexter SST 6's (or 7's whenever they come out) or the Dyno-thane Tour Ultras(I have these) These will come with multiple sliding pads and will be great quality. Take good care of them and you will never need to worry about shoes EVER again and if the approachs are not perfect you can switch soles/heels right then and there to help you match up better(I know from experience this is a life SAVER) If a slide pad or heel wears out you can buy a replacement. Trust me you will not regret it.
